Specially designed for kids first grade and below. These 30 min sessions are designed not just to give the kids exercise, but teach them dicipline and listening skills as well. The goal is to advance them to a point they are ready for the full blown SPARTAN Bootcamp experience.
In this session we are looking to develope the three main components that it will take kids to be successful in any organized athletic experience.
1) Attention span - these sessions are only 30 minutes. One of the key components of advancing to the main SPARTAN Bootcamp session, as well as any other organized sports, is the ability to remain focused for 60 minutes.
2) Listening skills and the ability to follow multistage directions. We asses this and practice it by gradually increasing the complexity of the drills. We are not just looking to see if the child can retain the information, but not be swayed and question themselves if another child is doing the drill incorrectly.
3) Physical Ability - the child must be physically capable to safely keep up and train with older bigger kids.
Once these are met, we begin to transition them into one of the hour long sessions
